The quote that inspired the name.
We are on a journey to liberate and unite girls, teens, and women from every background by sharing stories, advice, highlighting our commonalities, celebrating our differences, and breaking down the walls that separate us as women. By addressing oppressive dogma, providing trusted resources, and encouraging openness we hope to encourage women to be the woman they were created to be.
From the CEO
Why Polished Pistil?
1. “It’s our fight, our life, of voice, our stories, our ups, our downs, our songs, our glory…” – Stories of a Polished Pistil
After much prayer, I launched Polished Pistil in 2013 in order to create a space for women that promoted light, love, authenticity, and one another.
2. “A queen is wise. She has earned her serenity, not having had it bestowed on her but passed her tests. She has suffered and grown more beautiful because of it. She has proved she can hold her kingdom together. She has become its vision. She cared deeply about something bigger than herself. She rules with authentic power.”
I love to help women and girls discover their inner queen.
Every woman was created with a light and/or gift(s) that only they posses. If they are willing and able, I want to help that woman not only find their inner light, but feed it, grow it, and use it to empower others.
Romans 12:6-8 In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
