Rain: Eh, for now.
At the very least, the month of August consists of:
- Fellow roaring Leos that are out prowling in an unforgettable and glorious fashion
- A season filled with hot, rainy and/or humid days
There’s nothing quite like sharing an intimate piece of yourself with the world and then having even one person love it, respect it, and/or feel it. My intimate piece? The book I published in August 2016 called Stories of a Polished Pistil: Lace and Ruffles. Stories of a Polished Pistil: Lace and Ruffles, consists of poems, prose, and short stories compiled into three characters. The book covers love, friendship, heartbreak, spirituality, abuse, cultural conflict, affirmations, and femininity.
